My Experience
I am currently going to school at Southeast Missouri State University pursuing a major in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Design. For over two years I have been working as a Kitchen and Bath cabinet designer and have gained experience in drafting, space planning, and building customer relations. I also worked as intern at the Interior Design Center of St. Louis under JCR Design Group in which I gained excellent knowledge of the field and helped to develop design plans for clients.
My Skillset
Throughout my schooling and work experience, I have developed a great sense of spatial planning to promote functionality and using different colors and materials to create aesthetics in a space. Along with having an eye for detail, I have excellent experience using different drafting and rendering software to digitally plan a space before construction. I have worked with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Design2020. I also have experience in design and editing software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Pro Create Drawing.
My Goals
My goal is to be able to use my skillsets to create better interiors of the future that are healthy, sustainable, and accessible to everyone. I am looking to work with a firm that will provide me with experience, responsibility, and an opportunity to learn and grow in my design abilities. I am a hard worker who is always striving to learn more, and I am open to taking on challenging projects.
