About me

I am a student designer currently enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Design. The interior design program at SEMO is accredited by CIDA, NASAD, and NKBA. 

I have always had an interest in art and design, but throughout my college career I've become more intrigued with learning how to use my artistic ability to produce better buildings and interiors. I enjoy making spaces that focus on the safety, functionality, and comfort of the people within them. I have especially found interest in using Revit and other drafting software to create true to life renders of a space before it reached completion. I also enjoy creating vision boards and using Adobe products like Photoshop and InDesign to edit and design digitally.

For the past two years, I have been working as a cabinet designer for Menards which has allowed me to get further real-world experience with Kitchen and Bath designing. I was also able to work at the Interior Design Center of St. Louis as an intern for JCR Design Group. While completing my summer internship there, I gained excellent experience working with clients and providing assistance all throughout the design process. My previous work experiences have given me proficient knowledge on residential building, though I have a lot of interest in working on more commercial projects in the future as well.
